Grant: Co-founder and Inventor, Lionel Manufacturing Company The story is told of Lionel Cowen’s partner, Harry Grant, and his very important contribution to Lionel’s development from 1901 through 1910. Previously unknown, Grant’s contributions were essential to Lionel’s development. This book by Jan Athey, librarian of the Train Collectors Association (TCA) provides meticulous research, reproduction of key source documents including the original Lionel incorporation papers (1900), the papers dissolving the 1913 original corporation, and patent inventions by Harry Grant.
